why we're different

we know the system has failed

Finding Nature began because the support system for professionals and organisations to achieve the change they seek has failed. Emissions keep growing, social inequity increases, nature sits on the too hard list. Burnout, disenfranchisement and cynicism are common experiences. We all wish for something different - that’s arrived.

so we built finding nature to change it

Built on the experiences of those who’ve tried and felt the resistance, Finding Nature is the entity we needed. The home of Australia’s most popular sustainability podcast and where events have been reimagined, we offer the insights and experiences you crave. Our corporate programs combine deep subject matter expertise with creativity and innovation methods to address the problems you are facing to cut through the noise, take action and create lasting impact.

More About Finding Nature

testimonials

Something very special happens when passion, skill, vulnerability, and human connection come together in a venture. In Finding Nature, Nathan Robertson-Ball has found an outlet that not only feeds his own need to explore the human and professional responses to the Polycrisis but also nurture those that come together to explore it with him. In the age of consequences we can no longer avoid these conversations, but how do we have them when it doesn't fit with our social, economic, and business norms?

Whether through podcasts, activity filled events, or his curated Substack, Nathan and his diverse contributors don't just bring light to dark places, they bring curiosity and warmth, and surprisingly even playfulness and fun. Finding Nature is both the product of and antidote to these extraordinary times.

Thank you for a nourishing evening of food, community & discussion! I loved the format and can honestly say I haven't enjoyed an event so much in years.

Thank you to all attendees for sharing your ideas, experience and wisdom - what a phenomenal brains trust to be assembled!

It was so great to meet you and so many friendly and inspiring people around the table. You should be very proud of the space you have created, and the unique gift you have offered in the simple act of sitting around and sharing a drink & food to soften the edges of our peers in order for them to be vulnerable and share wisdom to help others.
